Baddesley Clinton

Taking advantage of our National Trust membership, and the good weather, we went to Baddesley Clinton, a Tudor moated manor house, for coffee and a look around.  We have not been there for a few years, and possibly never in the house, which is very interesting and follows the Ferrers family through five hundred years of history.

Later, after lunch, I had the very satisfying job of taking a claw hammer to a laptop disk drive.  I have been telling my customer, who does have a new laptop that the thing was past its sell-by some years back.  Her grandson used it to play games, unfortunately downloading them from numerous iffy sites until eventually the viruses took over and all files on the computer where encrypted with a demand for money to unencrypt them.  She finally agreed the laptop should go (although she has let her grandson use the new laptop, some people never learn).
