Saturday 9 June 2012: Houses and boats
Brought my camera with the new lens with me to the U district to practice and make sure it didn't squeak like the one I returned. It was graduation day and there weren't that many people around where I was. A very drab, very grey day, the sky was the color of the water in very flat light. Here you have a portion of the floating homes on Portage Bay from the bridge -I do like how the longer lens compresses the space so what you see are shapes, .....and bits of blue, and quite a bit of detail actually. (if you bigify...) This used to be cheap housing for students. No longer...
More chilling out is in order tonight....
