Saturday 9 June 2012: Big Red
Before you get to the Oman border crossing we always pass the Big Red dunes. Every time we come past it is full of locals blasting their 4x4s up and down the dunes. Like wacky races.
This time, we presume as it's getting very hot, it was empty...and you can see the natural beauty.
Being surrounded by huge skyscrapers and modern bling in Dubai you can forget how pretty the desert part of it is.
