It's Grim Up North

Where is everybody

We had Farleton Knott to ourselves.

This low fell, a maze of limestone pavements, nesting birds, orchids and stunted trees  is missed by tourists as they head for the Lake District. It's the big lump of rock on the left, as you head south, at J36 of the M6.

The views from the top, across Yorkshire, Cumbria and Morecambe Bay are stunning.
