Edinburgh day 5

A fantastic few days in Edinbrugh. We all fell in love with this amazing city. I was just over-whelmed with the amazing architecture - a wonderful mixture of 16C tenements, classical Georgian, beautifully kept parks and everywhere the looming presence of the castle. Tons of bagpipes and kilts which can only be a good thing in my opinion, and some delicious food. We also managed a family getogether, a very enjoyable blipmeet and watched about 20 animated shorts at the film festival and enjoyed an excellent evening showcasing my brother's films. We also met Adam Elliot- the animator of Mary and Max, who had travelled to Edinburgh, via Annency, from Melbourne to show his latest film Ernie Biscuit.

You remember those hens and stags I mentioned yesterday - they were all on the flight back to Cork and not in very good shape. Back home now and yes, it's raining.
