Ferret on a string

Saw a sight today that isn't something we see everyday! Twice in 23 years, as it happens! A couple came into the garden today with a ferret on a lead - I'm glad that my cats weren't about!

We also had a visit from Nick, the Puffer skipper, far more frequently seen than a ferret! He comes in from time to time with a group of people from his puffer, VIC 32. My extra picture today is of Nick reclining on the lawn in the sunshine drizzle, braces to the fore.
