A&E

Sunday morning at A&E. Woke up, coulsnt stand or walk. Sitting was pure agony too.
Was impressed - got to hospital at 11. Left at 12.30. Wonderful nurse, full exam. The result...my back and pelvic muscles are in spasm. No driving. Lots of painkillers. Am currently floating from a combination of cocodamol, diazapam and diclofenac.
Am p***ed off beyond belief that I am immobilised. But, the assessment suggests that the back spasm is probably as a result of my other problems and the fact that I have been carrying myself awkwardly to compensate for the pain. That will teach me.
This sign was in the cubicle. It was the only thing that brought a smile.
Poor Corin looked helpless as I sobbed...that made me feel even worse.
