Lady´s Slipper

I went to the lime marsh today for Orchid hunting. It was little to early so see the most colorful ones flowering. A lot of the early plants were still there. I found bird's-eye primrose and some early Fly Orchids.

I met some people at the marsh, talking about the Wild Lady´s Slipper Orchid which has a location near the marsh. I thought they were all gone after some heavy storms a couple a year ago but they said it still there but they couldn´t find them.

On the way back to my car I did a detour and there I found the wild and protected plant. It is not very common in Sweden.
