Sunday 10 June 2012: Well duh!

I've just discovered the 'super' bit of the super zoom. Dearie me. Only taken me four months. Not sure I should be let out on my own really.

Anyway, my Petch's Perch (TM) is working an absolute treat. I mix up some seed mix plus extra sunflower hearts, sultanas, dried mealworms, grated cheese etc. in melted lard and then pack it onto the log. It is proving to be very popular with the starlings in particular, which is a good thing because now the coal tits can get to the fat balls and cakes!
