Sunday 2 November 2008: Those Magnificent Men .....
A very small part of the action and attraction at the Perth Red Bull Air Show.
It was a sunny, virtually cloudless day with enough of a breeze to keep the temperatures down. Ideal weather for an air show.
We were entertained on a grand scale by these magnificent men and their flying machines.
Much of the action took place over the Swan River which in itself provided scenery worth blipping.
As we watched from the banks of the river, at our backs, just across the road from where we stood, the small aerobatic planes took off on a stretch of green grass, right in front of high rise hotels and office buildings.
The balconies were filled with spectators and people watching.
What a lovely day!
