Bronze woman at repose

K was back to work today so I decided to take myself off the the Modern Art Gallery as I hadn't been there for a long time. They had a small exhibition on of Lichtenstein's work, I was also impressed by their permanent collection on the upper level with some paintings to contend with ones you might see in Paris. Interestingly Lichtenstein had painted an ode to Monet in the form of his version of his (Monet's)  famous water lily paintings, paintings I saw in the flesh just days ago!
I love the piercing arrow of light that falls on the edge of this sculpture that sits outside the gallery, as if touched by something divine!
