Faith in strong elastic...

This is Shortie, bouncing on one of those (controlled) bungee jumping things. This involved quite a lot of fun-induced screaming, not surprisingly. (Her, not me.)

We were at the Ardrossan Highland Games, an annual event which we both really enjoy, for different reasons.

I really like pipe bands - both watching and listening - and you can't beat a trip to the tea tent to sample home baking. The occasional well-built man in a kilt may be an added bonus.

For Shortie, the games mean lots of stalls (fudge, knitted doll's dress and the like) and rides galore. (Or in my eyes, lots of ways of disposing of her mother's cash!)
