Back in la.belle France!

After two scorching days of driving we arrived back in a cooler France with much relief, to overnight in a château not far from Biarritz. The prospect for the final day's drive tomorrow is hot - with a temperature of around 40C to welcome us home.

The extra is the château where we are spending the night tonight before heading off at the crack of dawn on the final leg of the journey. (I tried to upload two, but don't see the second. If it appears, it is of the cocktail I enjoyed while gazing out at the château gardens in the cool of the evening.)
