The sculptor is the same one responsible for the famous Greyfriars Bobby statue in Edinburgh.

Slightly better today so hopefully it is just a Bug.  Thanks for the advice about getting it checked out but I have to confess I'm always likely to avoid that unless I absolutely have to!!
