Monday 11 June 2012: Mono Magic

I subscribe to this magazine and they run features on the use of Photoshop etc. Last month they ran an article on the use of adjustment layers and selections to enhance mono picture conversions, it works well and I sent one up to the magazine which I had tweaked. This is Carlisle railway Bridge over the river Lune at Lancaster, taken with an 8mm fisheye lens, I thought it was a good subject and hoped they may print it...seems I was right:) I wish they had spelled my name correctly though..Franklyn with a "y" (g) I added the large one, so you can see the fisheye effect to it's best advantage. Nice to know that out of a great many submissions, mine was considered one of the two better ones:)
