Summer Corn Field

I am not sure why the drive from Sussex to Devon always seems so long.  It takes us the best part of a day, although that may have something to do with the number of stops we have on the way.  It was also fairly hair raising as husband kept on forgetting that he was driving an automatic not the Defender and kept catapulting me towards the windscreen. This was the view from one of our many stops to let the dogs have a wee.  I must say I thought the colours were gorgeous.  It must have been something to do with the light after the rain.  We have just arrived and I am now so pleased to be here.
