Out There.

This is what it's all about. This is when you really feel alive. The rainforest out here is so raw, it's so untamed. The air is so crisp and clean. The sheer size of the forest just shows you how small you really are. The mountains are so steep, the valleys that could swallow a skyscraper. Gigantic palm trees and ferns, towering tree trunks, creeks and rivers with no respect for man made roads and infrastructure. When you're in the thick of it, it has a Jurassic feel to it. The only safety and comfort you have is your 4x4 and all the toys and tools you have tucked inside, aside from that, you're completely at the mercy of mother nature and the weather out here can turn with no warning whatsoever. It's the ultimate antidote to the monotony and stresses of the city and I live to go back.
