Sunday 10 June 2012: Smiling Eyes
I went for a couple of walks in the woods, took a trip to Tesco and drove back the long way (just for the fun of it!) and sung Disney songs (loudly and off-key) with Rhi as we unpacked the shopping. It was one of those simple-but-fun afternoons!
My dad has what I think of as 'happy eyes' - even when he's not smiling he looks cheerful. We tackled the washing up together this evening, singing along to church music on the radio as we worked. I didn't know all the words and he's very shy about singing in front of people, so he would say them for me to sing - a great team. He joined in for the final verse though, and we sung together with soap suds on our hands.
