Monday 11 June 2012: Simples.....

.....site the bike park on the platform so that commuters travelling into the city from the dormitory towns can hop on their bike and cycle to their office. It's such a good idea, and yet the first time I've seen it done in a British station....at the re-vamped Paddington Station today.

Earlier, I had a good meeting with an interesting and ambitious client in Bristol, although I committed an embarrassing gaff....no harm done, but a red face for me. Glad they laughed.

Later, had a difficult call to handle when facing down a long festering issue. Wish I'd done something about it before now, but I guess you deal with some things when you have to, rather than when we you should.

A quiet night for me in London, tea from Sainsbury's and a night of study, Scouty stuff and a bit of football watching out of the corner of one eye.
