Medieval Floor Tile

This lovely tile was under many shards of broken pot in the rubbish pit on our medieval site. It was lifted yesterday and today as it was poring with rain, I went to the office and washed it as well as the pottery. It was good to chat to the staff here and find out what their particular archaeological expertise was. I wanted to put Up some extra images but this doesn't seem possible with the iPad unfortunately.
