Cyclists at a Train Crossing

One of my favorite bike paths has a grade railroad crossing at which I was stopped briefly today by a passing mixed freight train mostly loaded with lumber.
I always smile when this happens to me as these trains pass slowly due to the trestle over Amazon Creek and I find them endlessly fascinating to watch.
Two cyclists were in the same predicament on the other side.
When the train completed its crossing of the bike path, I noticed one of the cyclists was photographing the wooden railroad trestle bridge.
He had discovered an active bee hive embedded in one of the bridge's timbers.
Clover honey with a touch of creosote anyone?
