My current daily dog walk back from the stables to home in the morning takes us over the East Coast main line. This gate is the only thing that separates me , Nevis and Skye from the Aberdeen express...
Even though I do stop, look and listen for trains every time, I still find crossing the line a nerve-wracking experience!
A beautiful, still morning with a hard frost.
