Silver Studded Butterflies

Upton Towans which is on the north cliffs is the home for the very rare Silver Studded butterfly. It is very small only 29-31mm wing span.

This is where I was this morning after yesterdays rain, hoping to get some good images of them. I was very fortunate to find these two mating and then managing to capture another male flying in to try to break up the action.

I have put two more images of them in Extra Photos. The blue is the male, and the other image of two others mating.
