Kestrel

We went for a lovely walk on Wester Craiglockhart hill this morning - in the wind, and nearly got blown away!
It was well worth it though as we were treated to a fantastic display by this kestrel flying around us for 10 to 15 minutes or so.
I didn't find it an easy subject to shoot as it moved around very quickly, sometimes with the bright sky behind it and others against the dark Pentland Hills.
This was the best shot I managed :-(

Extra is a view from the top of the hill across Edinburgh - not helped by the very blustery weather.
