Flaming

These unusual flowers are in the planter down by the village sign on the green. I have no idea what they are!

A busy day with lots of washing to do today. It was a pretty good drying day with a strong wind, though not much sun until mid afternoon. I have managed to also do some reading and some necessary cleaning.

Another person who used to come to our church died this morning - a lovely lady who had been in a care home for some considerable time and was expected to pass away a week ago as she was so frail. We prayed at the church meeting last night that the Lord would take her when it was the right time, and I guess he decided that it was - within a few hours!
