Tree canopy

Another dull, cool but dry day today, so we are counting ourselves lucky compared to many others hit by flooding in the last few days.

Once again I headed out for Lickey Woods at lunchtime. I had a superb close sighting of a buzzard gliding low on the slopes below me, but wasn't carrying a big enough lens to get a decent shot of it. Sometimes it's best anyway just to relax and enjoy the moment rather than miss it whilst fumbling around with camera lenses.

I have decided today upon this wide-angle lens shot looking straight upwards into the tree canopy. I think it looks quite abstract.
