I met up with K and headed Downtown. I had a coffee while she went into work then met up for  brunch at Swan Oyster Depot on Polk St.
Fabulous.
K recommended I read McTeague by Frank Norris some time ago. I finished it on my last trip to SF in March. The main characters live on Polk St. McTeague is partial to tamales and steam beer. So on this trip I had tamales on Monday evening with steam beer and today we ventured into Polk St.
The afternoon was spent following a walking trail zigzagging across Chinatown. Lots to see and photograph.
