Banksia ericifolia

On the way home from the local shopping centre which is undergoing a massive redevelopment with cranes, trucks and traffic deviations all over the place, I stopped into an unexpectedly quiet little park where both flies and bees were busy collecting something good from the Banksia.  The Extra shows how unique these flower cones are.
