Beauty Spot

It shouldn't be as cold as it was up here this evening. Stood chittering away waiting for the sun to set like it was November. The sun disappeared behind the clouds first, so swivelled around to catch this view instead. Dumyat, easily the busiest hill in the Ochils due to it's easy access and quick fix on great views over the Forth Valley. It's looking a bit of a building site just now though, thanks to the construction of the new Beauly to Denny power lines. The one in the middle has always been a bit of a pain when it comes to blocking views over Stirling from around here, but at least it's a bit smaller than the new ones that are being sent to march over the hillside (as seen lying in bits on the right).

I'm hoping confident it'll be back to it's former glory when all that's finished, and there's no longer a quarter of a mile walk to access the path to the top of Dumyat.
