Hide If You Can

I used to have those rare once-in-a-while nightmares as a child of falling from a plane, being in the path of a train or truck with no chance to get out of the way...  locked into a moment and feeling the infinite struggle to break free.

As an adult I would have dreams of plane crashes... usually a few days before an actual event.  Scary as hell!!!   The last one was of a helicopter crash and then first thing in the morning on the local news was a helicopter crash with a video feed matching the geography of the dream.

Hesse's Magic Theater?

I am happy that I have been free of such dream visions for a long many years.  I don't know where they came from and where they went.

Takes me back to University years with a course on world religions and being very in sync with the idea of Hua Yen Budhism and the indescribale infinite.  And then later a course on ancient greek philosophy... to be or not to be and the start of a metaphysical conscience... man is the measure of all things, of things that are, that they are, of things that are not, that they are not.

Time to pull out Pirsig's Zen and The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance again....  :)
