Tuesday 12 June 2012: Poppy
My Dad gave me a few of these orange poppy seeds years ago and they are one of those flowers that I have a love hate relationship with. They are really pretty but each flower only for a fairly short time. I then have to find time to keep cutting all the seedheads off. As this invariably doesn't happen systematically, or quickly enough, there are always a few that then spread seed. As a result they pop up all over the place in the garden and I have even seen them in the neighbours gardens now.
