Old man

An early start today , my father in law has come up for a day he is a born again biker and this was his longest ride at 80 miles , he has just got back into biking after a 30 year break. He has got himself a BMW 800 st , I don't know anything about bikes but it looks nice .
Anyway we set off up the old man of coniston and had a fine day of walking .
We past numerous old mine and quarry workings so today's pic is an old cable pull long since abandoned , this was about half way up and was a little rest stop .
Back down now and to the pub :-)
