Wednesday 13 June 2012: Party preparations
With 5 days left until Amy's first birthday, Claudia is getting into the spirit and wrapping the present she chose for her little sister.
She also delights in telling me (repeatedly, all day long) "Amy is zero, on Amy birthday, she be one!". She also knows she turns 3 on her next birthday (THREE?! When the hell did I get an almost-three year old!?) but isn't nearly as excited about that as Amy not being 'zero' any more <3
We had some delicious lemon luscious cake today. It arrived in the post from my wonderful mate Tina who is far too good to us.
I have also been sewing like mad today - watch this space for some new Monkey Mei Tais...
