Wednesday 13 June 2012: Kingfisher
Took another trip to Wakehurst, Loder Valley today and apart from stopping to view a Wren and Blackcap, we headed straight for the Kingfisher hide. As soon as we got in the Kingfisher was there and I managed to get this beautiful shot. Funny enough 2 people who we met on the Badger watch last night were also there with their cameras. Large Kingfisher!
We hung around for a bit before heading to the other side of the water where we bumped into the Warden who took us Badger watching last night!
Saw a Whitethroat feeding her chicks which was my backup blip.
I'm a very happy bunny!
Hope this is not tempting fate again, but going to RSPB Pulborough Brooks tomorrow!
