Wednesday 13 June 2012: Raindrops on...

838/365: ... poppies and whiskers on kittens.

These are not particularly any of my favourite things. Whiskers on kittens though?! Who finds them cute? They're just... well... whiskery. Never live your life like it's the Sound of Music, that's the main thing to take away from this, I think.

Also, this shot is rubbish - but you would have laughed at me taking it. I really *really* want to find a nice Poppy field, but fail every year. I saw a tiny patch of them in a field and screeched to a halt... did a quick about turn... and wandered into the field to take a shot. Soaked my trousers. Stung my leg. Then got a bit panicky in case the farmer yelled at me and scarpered! So pathetic!!

Anyway, the raindrops have decided to fall again. Which is okay, I guess. Mainly due to the 'I'm too lazy to water the garden' factor! Plus, when I got home from work - having skedaddled my backside home (and it took a full two hours) because Nick had some work to do - I had a migraine pounding and I quite fancied just curling up and sleeping. A bit of dinner and a walk round the block with the kids (plus some migraine tablets) helped a bit. But I think I'm just a bit pooped and going out to water the garden wasn't really on my list of stuff to do this evening!

Today was a funny old day at work. Kinda intense all round. Can't think how else to describe it really! Not bad, just busy.

Tomorrow is even busier - so I'm off to bed in a mo!

PS My working week is dull, right?
PPS Which is why I land boring flower shots on you! Sorry! :o)
