Wednesday 13 June 2012: The Way to Baby Red's Heart
... is through his stomach. You'd think that was obvious but other generations of Reds have shunned our yard like it had cooties (or too many cats and dogs) and to find this one fishing seeds out of the feeder/swing - well, it's lovely. I liked it even better when it came to the side of the tree I was at to look at me. Twice.
It was such lovely weather today too. No humidity, a cool breeze - I'll take a few months of this :)
Harley was scoping out the baby killdeer through the window. They are huge, but I haven't seen them fly yet.
