Wednesday 13 June 2012: Best Buddies
Making up for the early finish yesterday it was late one tonight and initially had very little to report. The light headiness appears to have shifted and back feeling relatively normal (for me anyway).
However, tonight I came home to find out that one of Bob's drawings/ painting had been submitted into an local school competition and she's won a prize. I'm unsure what category or where she was placed but she's to attend an official presentation on Friday morning.
Am I proud of my budding Picasso? What do you think - of course I am
A rare visit from Swear boy resulted in an evening walk down to the harbour. Whilst they hunted for wee sea creatures in the skeletons of boats I continued walking. About 5 minutes later both Swear boy and Bob appeared carrying something. From Bob's hand position it was obvious she was carrying some sort of sea creature they way she was cupping it. Swear boy appeared to have two bricks in his hand dripping mud from them. Initially I thought he'd brought them round to throw them in the sea. However, as he got closer it became apparent the bricks were actually his trainers and they were oozing mud. He'd went down to the sea to wash his hands as they were filthy but didn't realise he was actually sinking in the mud until it was too late. It was made funnier worse by the fact they were his relatively new school trainers.
