Life with The Pinks

Flowers in her hair

This morning started with Miss Pink non-stop talking at me from 5.30am. I gave in by 6.30.

Master Pink went on his school trip to one of the museums in Colchester. He apparently enjoyed it very much, although the best bit was "the gift shop". He does want to go back to the museum again though, so it must have been of some interest!!

While he was off enjoying himself, Miss Pink and I made the most of the brief glimpse of sunshine we were experiencing. Miss Pink phoned the ducks, to make sure they are hungry " we'll be there in a minute, are you hungry, you are, good, I'll just phone Mr swan, bye".

First stop was the playground though, and we did have a lovely time. Miss Pink adopted a little girl called Rose as her new best friend, and they climbed up the slide lots, and went through the tunnel a lot.

After the park we headed up to the river to feed the ducks. But the ducks....woah they were HUNGRY. They literally swooped onto us as we arrived. We had five slices of wholemeal bread to give them, but two were taken whole from our hands - one by a swan, and one by a cheeky "teenage" duckling. The rest was given out so hastily due to the demand of the ducks and fear of Miss Pink being knocked out by the swan. When the bread had gone, they started on my camera and Miss Pink's knees. It was time to go.
