Rolling Clouds

It was all about the sky today, big chunky clouds rolling through with tiny pockets of blue sky each with 5 seconds of sun. The wind was bitter and the sea was roaring, it was not really the place to be with a 'bung' eye but I couldn't stay away.

Mum and I had a very short wander, with our jackets, hats, scarves and gloves on, tramping through the wet sand and nearly getting caught out by the waves - mum made a dash for it and I was not far behind her.

We then went to a local cafe and warmed up on Sweet Potato, Pumpkin and Coconut cream soup with garlic bread - it was so tasty and just what we needed after being out in the cold.

Then the supermarket was calling and our weekly shop was done, always a good feeling to restock the pantry for another week.

I hope to be back to commenting soon, still resting the eye but would like to thank you all for your kind comments for yesterdays little Waxeye, they are a delightful tiny bird and a native to NZ.

Keep well blippers - Friday tomorrow :)
