Vitoria-Gasteiz

The Basque capital, and a most wonderful place. A bit of a bugger arriving though. I decided a taxi from the bus station to the centre of town would be in order. I paid the taxi and away it shot; within 100 yards I realised my wallet was missing. Aaargh! I legged it back to where the taxi dropped me off where one of the Policia Locale was still standing. As he knew no English it was google translate to the rescue.

Creo que dejé mi cartera en ese taxi!

And thanks be to the blessed Virgin Blanca, after five minutes the taxi came barrelling back, the driver leapt out and looked on his back seat and there was my cartera!
Phew.
