Never, ever travel on a holiday Friday!!
 
At least:
 
* We were never really standing still, just moving forward very
   slowly.
* Gordon had the cricket to listen to – and that made him very   
   happy.
* I managed to complete a Kakuru – for the very first time.
* The further north we got the less the traffic got . . . until . . .

We diverted in Oxfordshire to have a break and do some shopping and Gordon for some reason took great delight in buying a Guardian in Witney!
