Thursday 14 June 2012: Les huitres

Today we went to an oyster shack near Ars-en-Re (yes indeed) with family and friends. Sunshine, but windy - the island is always windy - with (I am told) excellent oysters. Me, I stuck to the crevettes (incidentally what people here call the baby) and herring pate. Jum.
