Trouble at't Mill
It was a club outdoor meeting this evening and we travelled a little further than normal down to one of the favourite Blip locations - Chesterton Mill.
The evening looked like being a total washout with dull grey clouds and no flattering light to use. I put my gear away as did most of the others, but, we hung around hoping for a little flash of light. It didn't look like coming, so, while just one stayed waiting (Karl) the rest of us put our kit back in our cars. Then we looked around and, without warning, a section of sky lit up red and pink.
To get the light behind the mill I spun my car around and whizzed 300 yards down the road and jumped out, set up tripod and camera and managed to get a few shots away. This is (as most tonight) a 7 shot HDR. Two minutes and it was all gone again.
Not the best shot ever of the mill, but far far better than I expected we would get. At least we got lots of fresh air blasted into our lungs from the high winds.
