Pennines

I had a meeting at Scotch Corner today, so had a long drive along the A66. I was already running late and got much later as the road was closed both ways due to an accident, yeeks!! I was very lucky though and was able to divert along some little country lanes and pick the road again up at Brough. I was so glad I wasn't travelling in the opposite direction which had become a lorry/car park!!

Anyhow there are some fantastic views along the A66 of the pennines and I was able to stop in a layby on the way home for today's blip. I'm afraid the photo doesn't do the view justice but I like the cow parsley in the foreground.
