Absent without cake
Mr.R and Curlyfries were expected home from uni, for tea.
I have to wish Mr.R happy non teenage birthday in absentia.
They are on the way, but I will be in the land of Nod , by the time they get here. The dinner is in the fridge and the cake is...........not eaten.......just.
I will have some time with them on birthday +1.
Ah well, 20 years ago I was elated enough for a lifetime.
