Under the boardwalk

We had a behind the scenes tour of the boardwalk. In this photo, we are below the carousel behind a secure gate. The carousel is an intricate set of wheels, cams, and pulleys to make it all work. In this accompanying video, you can see the cam shafts for each horse going up and done as the carousel rotates. The carousel is over 100 years old and is a local landmark.
