Friday 1 June 2012: Are You Sure, Dada?

Hubby has been very busy lately with a project. The grass in our back yard had been choked out by a weed that has been attacking parks, golf courses and lawns all over in recent years, so we decided to take it out and start all over. So, after removing all the old grass, he filled in the space with lots of mulch and compost and good soil (since all we have is sand underneath it all), then seeded the whole thing. The final touch was the fence to keep dogs and little people from walking on it for a while.
I loved the way Larkyn was looking at her Dada in this, as he explained that grass would grow soon . . . at least, we hope!
