Thursday 14 June 2012: GREEN!

The grass seed was sown two weeks ago, and now there is a nice-looking lawn in our back yard. It still has a lot of growing and maturing to do before we can take away the fence and enjoy it, but it sure is nice to see all that green, and Larkyn likes it, too, pointing it out every once in a while.

Larkyn was in an especially loving and happy mood today. She is generally happy, but today was exceptional. I knew it would be a good day when the outfit I chose for her (this dress) was not rejected. She generally wears the 2nd or 3rd option I give her each day, almost always rejecting my first idea. I try to let her just choose, but she keeps choosing jackets and warm items, which would not be very comfortable during these hot summer days! Perhaps I should hide all the winter clothes, then it would be easier for her. :-)
