Resto

This was the pretty little garden restaurant we stopped at for lunch on the way back from Toulouse.  You can see how the continuing heatwave has burned the grass brown.  Surrounding trees looked positively autumnal with their scorched leaves.  Temperatures again got up to 39C and despite occasional thunderstorms, the drought continues.

We were in la Ville Rose for Janice's naturalisation interview, which went well apart from her forgetting her own name - as well as that of the President.  Just nerves!  So now, apart from a handful of papers which we will send on next week, we look set to be accepted as French citizens, although the administrative process could take up to eight or nine months.
