Friday 15 June 2012: We Have a Winner
The art competition Bob won was a lot bigger than I initially thought.
The competition was open to every school in and around the Dunfermline area and was split into 7 categories (one for each Primary). We thought Bob had simply been placed i.e. first, second or third but it turns out she was the overall winner for her category. In fact only the winners were invited along and Bob's school took 3 or the 7 possible places.
When talking to one of the trustees they'd received hundreds of entries so for each of the kids to win in their category is something to be really proud off.
In the short period we were there two of the assistants really took a shine to Bob and commented on how great a child she is, friendly, polite and engaging - traits she obviously gets from her mum me - I'll let you decide.
